Deb Mercier lives in rural Minnesota with her two kids, husband, dog, and the occasional rodent. She writes books for children and is the news editor for the Pope County Tribune. When Deb's not writing, you can find her visiting schools, snapping pictures of the wildlife around her house (human and otherwise) and saving turtles from roadways.
